Kay has been a physical therapist for 2 decades already. She holds a postprofessional doctorate of physical therapy in musculoskeletal management and geriatric certification from Evidence in Motion Institute of Health Professions. She has her Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from FEU-NRMF and with courses in M.A. Special Education from UP-Diliman in the Philippines. Her initial professional license for PT was in the Philippines through PRC, where she also had her professional teaching license. Currently, active P.T. license in Alabama. She has work experience as a personal trainer from Slimmers World Int’l and Fitness First; as a physical therapist in outpatient, home health, inpatient rehab, skilled nursing and industrial settings in Alabama. She is a member of AGPT Section of APTA, APTA AL, APTA and AFAPT; and is a HSV-Madison County Senior Center Class Volunteer.

James D. Bartlett, COTA
Executive Certificate in Home Modification Program


James is a passionate young therapist who holds an associate degree in occupational therapy. He is a certified occupational therapist assistant with an executive certificate in home modification program through USC Davis in addition to being a GroupHab instructor. He has work experience in pediatrics setting but is currently a field therapist from a well known national HH agency. He has shifted to geriatrics setting, where he found his purpose to advocate for the welfare of older adult population in their own home and/or community. He is a proud member of NBCOT, and HSV-Madison County Senior Center Class Volunteer.

TheraGeriLLC owners are therapists themselves, whom had been in the industry for years. Experience allows them to understand the psychosocial issues, along with the physical concerns of older adult clients. Thus, they continuously update themselves in the profession to meet the needs they experience now and then, considered as a necessity in the community. They cover passionate care for pain management in conjunction with necessary modalities, fall prevention programs with vestibular rehab, home modification, chronic disease management through therapy and wellness programs.
